Must-Do Attractions in Marquette, MI

If you are traveling through Michigan’s Upper Peninsula this season and will have just one day to enjoy the Marquette area, here are the top things you must do while you’re in town:

First, explore the beautiful Presque Isle park.  Rent bikes from Lake Shore Bike or walk the trails to the world famous Black Rocks.  You might even spot a cliff diver or two!

Now that you’re all worn out and hungry, it is time to refresh.  Go grab dinner or lunch to go from Aubrey’s Pizza or one of the other local favorite restaurants, like Dig’s, The Delft, or Doncker’s.

Then bring your meal and favorite beverages to the Edge of Reality Arcade on Washington Street, the only Virtual Reality Arcade in the Upper Peninsula!  Your group can enjoy a meal and some fun as you virtually travel and explore other locations around the world in 3D on Google Earth, throw fireballs from your hands or fend off hordes of the undead.  All this in air-conditioned comfort with professional, knowledgeable staff to help as little or as much as you need.

Once you are fully refreshed take a short drive to Sugarloaf Mountain to overlook Marquette and Lake Superior. A perfect end to a perfect day.
